The Swiss village of Château-d’Oex in the Canton of Vaud is once again playing host to the annual Festival International de Ballons from January 21 to 29, 2017. Surrounded by mountains, Château-d’Oex is blessed with a microclimate that makes it ideal for hot air ballooning. This year, the 39th celebration welcomes more than 80 balloons from 20 countries to the skies.
