The Glen House is adjacent to the legendary Mt. Washington Auto Road, which leads to the summit of the highest peak in the Northeast. At 6,288 feet, Mt. Washington offers views of close to 100 miles to the Atlantic Ocean and into neighboring Canada, the most famous mountain drive east of the Rockies and America’s oldest man-made attraction. The kayaking is on the flat waters of the nearby Androscoggin River, where you have the opportunity to look for moose, eagle, osprey, and other animals native to New Hampshire. Surrounding The Glen House are 28 miles of trails for biking, with terrain that ranges from easy to moderate. There are hybrids, mountain bikes, and fat bikes available.
